The EFM Library, main floor southwest corner of the Meeting House, has a wide range of resources available for browsing and check-out, including Pendle Hill pamphlets, print copies of the Friends Journal, and historical works, with a focus on Quaker history and contemporary issues. 

The familiar Dewey decimal system is used to organize these holdings, but helpful subject labels are also provided on shelves. 

In keeping with  EFM Handbook guidelines, Quaker authors are a priority for the Library. Providing relevant materials that may not be available at local libraries is also a major focus. Additionally, as mentioned specifically in the Handbook, the Library is a depository for published works by EFM authors.  

Suggestions for new acquisitions are always welcome and can be left in the library suggestion box. Also invited are recommendations for electronic resources that could be added to the "Library Link" on the EFM website or otherwise made available to the meeting.

A new link under the "Library" tab on the EFM website lists EFM Library resources that may have relevance to Anti-Racism work, defined in the ad hoc committee's letter as including "people of color, people of different ages, genders, sexual identities, abilities, backgrounds, and ethnicities."  Titles in the EFM library that may have relevance to Anti-Racism work, defined in the ad hoc committee’s letter as including “people of color, people of different ages, genders, sexual identities, abilities, backgrounds, and ethnicities.” Many of these titles are also available online via Internet Archive.
